Hi everyone, what's up? :)

:bulletblack: Aikotoba II Progress

Here's a quick look in the progress for my Aikotoba II art! If you haven't already, check out my brother's UTAU video which the art is for! It's a good listen!

I do most of my digital art on the Nintendo DS using a really cool program called Colors! colorslive.com
I actually got the program when they were still quite small and they had it for the normal DS. It's a really good program and I consider you picking it up! On the version we have you only have one layer but on the 3DS version you can even paint in "3D" where you have layers and I guess you can have it to look like they have distance with each other.

I usually start with line-art like this! (The signature is just my watermark for the progress pictures, my signature isn't usually that huge!)

Added colors and shades. I made her eyes "googly" and switched up her color palette like the original art of Aikotoba II.

Cleaned up edges and added background.

Working further on it! The building-like structure in the previous was supposed to be a drop tower but I replaced it with a roller coaster instead which I think looks much better.

More highlights and shades!

Started adding flowers on her head and the mini Sukone Tei hugging Miku, which is something my brother specifically requested me to put on the art.

More flowers + highlights!

Added falling sakura petals and it's basically done! Just exported larger, cropped and added the text on top for the video.

Do you work similarly to me or do you have a different way of tackling it?
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed the quick look into how I worked on this one.

I hope everyone is doing good! Take care always and Glory to God!

I don't really comment much (I barely go through my messages anymore) but I have a habit of raiding uncommented posts.

I gotta say, the progression is pretty sweet - with lack of better words. =I hm.

Loving the style !!
