I do these on the Nintendo DS so I can bring it along with me almost anywhere. It's a good platform to get art done relatively quickly because you can work on them on the go and you can keep the art going.

I'm highly considering requests soon so you can wait for that on my journal! This is if you want to give me a little something extra or if someone is interested in it. :)

Hi everyone, how are you doing? :)

:bulletblue: Sky Joy!

My brother MarkXUs/3dfantasy has his composition "Sky Joy" finally on Youtube! Please do have a listen!

It's a beautiful song. He composed, arranged and sung the song. He's put a lot of work into it so your support would mean a lot!
His MarkXUs channel is also still very new so some exposure would be a great help! Kindly share it with your friends and give him your support!
He also has a dA! Markus3dfantasy

My elder sister lonelymiracle has also finally opened her online store Sherwoodstock!

Her shop is still very new but she already has plenty of items available! They're high quality and reasonably priced! She loves packaging and she will be packing all her orders ready to be given as gifts. Plus the first 10 customers get a free gift! Christmas is almost here and her items would make a lovely gift especially if you don't have the time to go shopping and get presents wrapped.
Have a look and kindly give her your support!

:bulletblack: Update!

Just a small art related update! I've recently picked up color pencils again and I've tried drawing and coloring on brown paper. Having a brown base is so helpful for skin tones and using a white color pencil for highlights is really cool. You can also achieve a more pleasing medium to dark tone quicker in comparison to having a white base. I haven't been doing all that much traditional art recently and it's soothing to work on a slow pace. You guys probably already know I do most of my digital art on the Nintendo DS and it's refreshing to work on a larger scale than the DS screen. There are advantages to digital of course, for example you can get bright vivid colors in one stroke of a brush but it's nice to switch things up once in a while!

For my requests, I'm sorry for taking so long! I'll try to get them done soon!

I hope everyone is doing well, take care and God bless! :)

Aikotoba || Quick Progress

Journal Entry: Thu Sep 4, 2014, 10:53 AM

Hi everyone, what's up? :)

:bulletblack: Aikotoba II Progress

Here's a quick look in the progress for my Aikotoba II art! If you haven't already, check out my brother's UTAU video which the art is for! It's a good listen!

I do most of my digital art on the Nintendo DS using a really cool program called Colors! colorslive.com
I actually got the program when they were still quite small and they had it for the normal DS. It's a really good program and I consider you picking it up! On the version we have you only have one layer but on the 3DS version you can even paint in "3D" where you have layers and I guess you can have it to look like they have distance with each other.

-------
I usually start with line-art like this! (The signature is just my watermark for the progress pictures, my signature isn't usually that huge!)
01 by Greenpuffle

Added colors and shades. I made her eyes "googly" and switched up her color palette like the original art of Aikotoba II.
02 by Greenpuffle

Cleaned up edges and added background.
03 by Greenpuffle

Working further on it! The building-like structure in the previous was supposed to be a drop tower but I replaced it with a roller coaster instead which I think looks much better.
04 by Greenpuffle

More highlights and shades!
05 by Greenpuffle

Started adding flowers on her head and the mini Sukone Tei hugging Miku, which is something my brother specifically requested me to put on the art.
06 by Greenpuffle

More flowers + highlights!
07 by Greenpuffle

Added falling sakura petals and it's basically done! Just exported larger, cropped and added the text on top for the video.
08 by Greenpuffle

-------

Do you work similarly to me or do you have a different way of tackling it?
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed the quick look into how I worked on this one.

I hope everyone is doing good! Take care always and Glory to God!

Small Update + Donation

Journal Entry: Wed Sep 3, 2014, 3:40 PM

Hi everyone, how are you all doing? : )

I've been thinking of posting a small look on the progress for the Aikotoba II art and I'll be getting to it soon!
I have worked on the two requests I received a few weeks back, I hope to work further on them soon so they can be finished! Sorry for the long wait!

:bulletblack: Help for Racoonshinobi

RaccoonShinobi 's family is going through a tough time and any donation for them will be greatly appreciated. Just spread the word if you can't.
One of the biggest thing we can do is offer a prayer on their behalf.

For more information where to donate, please visit his journal here regarding the issue here:

I hope everyone is doing well. Take care and God bless!

Sapphire Eyes
:iconneedlemouse:'s character Velocity as a human!
I like seeing non-human characters drawn as humans! I think it's nice to see something new of a character. It's fun but challenging to capture them as a human!

I see Velocity as a character who is courageous, strong, beautiful, playful but willing to give her all to protect the ones she loves.

I hope you like it V!
God bless!

Drawn on Colors! DS and edited further in Gimp 2.8.

You were definitely on the MFS! What username did you have there? From your dA ID, JoeyD seems familiar to me!

I think it sounds vaguely familiar! It's cool to talk again with the people from the MFS!
Did you have an original character or project/comic then? I might remember you from it. :)
